I wrote my first story when I was twelve years old. Many followed and ended in the trash as I did not know what else to do with them. Then life happened and I forgot about writing. It was when my children had grown and left home that I started thinking of writing again. I wrote a few short stories, sent them to a magazine, but got rejected. I wrote a novel, but could not find a publisher. So, I kept on writing, but forgot about publishing. That went on for years until I found a publisher in Alaska, Evan Swensen, owner of Publication Consultants, who was interested in my work. Three books have been published with three more in line. Finally I consider myself a published author.

My other interests are reading, gardening, painting and walking along the beautiful beaches of the Western Cape coast.
